Recently PSA Group have added the Tech2win subscription as standard included in the GDS2 Subscription. I think this is great news. I recently installed this remotely for a customer using Teamviewer and took some screengrabs along the way. This works with Passthru tools such as drewtech Mongoose GM, Drewtech cardaq, Cardaq m, Bosch KTS and even Ford VCM3. However it does not work with Autel Passthru :( you will need to make sure the relevantd drivers are installed.
Purchase the length of subscription required, in my case the customer already had a GDS2 license so didnt need to worry about ordering again.

Most IDS VCM2 Issues are due to corrupt firmware, so the steps are as follows to recover your VCM 2.
Shut down the IDS application if it is running.
Disconnect the VCM II DLC cable from the vehicle.
Disconnect the VCM II USB cable from the VCM II and PC.
Remove the rubber boot on the VCM II that is opposite the DLC connector to expose the Recovery Mode Switch.
Start the IDS application.
Press and hold the plastic tab.

After modifying the file exit the ‘ES File Editor’ and use the device as normal. Once within the manufacturer software, where applicable the online flash function will be visible on the menu and control modules can be re-flashed by following the on screen instructions.

I was called out to a trade customer who wanted to program a new SDM Module to this 2017 Vauxhall Movano. I went out to the job equiped with the Autel MS 908 pro S I used it as a passthru tool to flash and configure the SDM to this vehicle. One of the most common questions I get asked is how to setup Forscan using Autel Pasthru, It works with most passthru devices but because the Autel product is my best seller I thought best to show with this.
First of all we need the relevant passthru drivers, the Autel PC Suite is available to download off our Downloads page here.
You then need to buy your license and download the software off the Forscan website, https://forscan.org/download.html I recommend you buy the lifetime license which is 42Euros.
Here you configure the cable type, I have tested with Autel, VCM2, Drewtech Cardaq and Tactrix.
You then paste the license code which is emailed to you into the software to activate.

Selected 2018 models contain new module called Security Gateway (SGW). This module isolates vehicle CAN-BUS, infotainment (radio) CAN-BUS and diagnostic link connector CAN-BUS (OBD-II). It also prevents aftermarket scantools such as Autocom and Autel to perform any active diagnostic routines such as clearing fault codes, perform actuators, ECU programming, etc.
The only tool capable of diagnostics via OBD-II is the dealer tool, which authenticates bi-directionaly the gateway using strong cryptography algorithms.
Paid registration and online access to the factory server is required below is how to carry it out using Autocom CDP/
