12/24V HHO Engine carbon cleaner takes 10-12 Days from order to arrive as built to order.

Impact tuning and Diagnostics sell our own model carbon cleaner the ICC230. We buy from a Portugese company who have been building electrolysis cells for automotive use for many years and we have learned from experience.  Please be wary of newcomers with little experience making wild claims & giving misleading information.  We don't tie you in to any franchise or other ongoing costs.

This is a rapidly growing market and with local authorities struggling to meet air quality targets and businesses looking to save fuel & reduce emissions this is an ideal time to enter the market.  It is proving to be highly lucrative with established operators typically cleaning 4-6 vehicles per day at ~ £65 per car and more for larger vehicles. The return on investment is very fast.

Our products are designed and manufactured in the European Union by a company with many years experience of manufacturing HHO equipment for automotive applications & in compliance with technical and industrial manufacturing standards of such products.
Please note that due to high demand the HHO carbon cleaning machines have a lead time of approx. 7-10 working days

The model ICC230 is ready to use with a metal cabinet on wheels, an inbuilt ammeter,  2 output settings, flashback protection additional safety features, large water tank, water level indicator.

Whats included?
This Plug-n-play unit comes completely mounted with all accessories and parts for the perfect results:

  • 2 x HHO heavy duty cellsin one assembly, with 316L grade stainless steel plates, pre-wired with heavy duty cables, bolted connections and pre-connected to the reservoir. Ready to use.
  • Steel cabinet with integral cooling fan, wheels and low profile handles
  • Control over the gas output to suit different engine sizes.
  • Heavy duty power cable and clamps for vehicle battery connection.
  • 10mm gas hose
  • Reservoir - up to 36 litres with water level indicator and low-level safety cut-off.
  • Easy to read Ammeter - even in bright sunlight
  • Large bubbler to prevent risk of flash-back
  • Low profile handles. (the picture shows a vertical handle but current units have low profile handles for easier transport)
  • Reverse polarity protection. Essential when you are doing several cleans per day.
  • Electrolyte

How does it work?
Electric current is used to split water by electrolysis into its components, pure hydrogen and oxygen gases, commonly referred to as HHO.  To allow electric current to flow easily an electrolyte (potassium hydroxide, KOH) is added to the water. The gases flow to a large bubbler filled with water which serves as a flashback arrestor.
The gases are highly effective in removing carbon deposits inside the engine using a simple procedure that requires no engine dismantling.  All that is required is for the Carbon Cleaner connected to a DC power supply such as the vehicle's battery and the HHO gases be fed into the engines air intake while it idles:-.

  • The engine is brought up to normal operating temperature
  • The air filter or intake hose is loosened
  • HHO gas is fed into the air intake.
  • The engine is left idling for approx. 40 minutes (or more depending on the engine size) with occasional revving, during which the carbon deposits are progressively removed and pass out through the exhaust pipe.  The combination of oxygen enrichment and the hydrogen accelerant gently loosens & burns off carbon deposits. Water vapour, carbon dioxide and carbon is carried out in the exhaust.  Simple Fast and Effective
  • Cleans pistons crowns, valves, frees sticking turbo vanes, maintains EGR valves
  • Restores full air and exhaust gas flow and hence restores performance
  • Reduces emissions
  • Restores bhp and mpg.
  • Simple process

Please note that the manufacturer continues to refine its designs and from time to time changes will be made to enhance the performance and/or user interface.  The photos show recent designs whilst we try to keep the details up to date, occasionally the item received will have improved features and may appear slightly different from that shown. The manufacturer assures that all units will meet or exceed the specifications given here.
FAQs
  • Can I use ordinary tap water? A.  No, you should only use distilled or deionised water, never tap water or mineral water which could fur up the plates and reduce output. Tap water will work but it is false economy.
  • Do I need electrolyte and where can I buy it? A.  We use potassium hydroxide (KOH) flake. A starter amount is provided, more can be bought in HDPE tubs from chemical suppliers on eBay.
  • Could the electrolyte harm the engine? No. The electrolyte stays in the system and only pure oxygen and hydrogen gases are fed into the air intake of the vehicle. These gases also pass through a bubbler of clean water to remove any traces of electrolyte.
  • What are the buttons and dials for?  The gases produced are colourless and odourless so to verify that the system is working as it should, we monitor the operating current. The buttons allow different settings to be used for different engine sizes and there is an emergency stop button too.
  • Some sellers claim their hydrogen is better than others, is this true? Hydrogen is hydrogen, it is an element and electrolysis of pure water or pure water with potassium hydroxide added (to increase conductivity) produces pure hydrogen and oxygen and no other gases. There can be no contaminants unless someone uses impure water or adds other salts to it. There are also some sellers claiming that oxygen isn't required or carbon cleaning and is the cause of carbon build up, this shows their lack of understanding. Fuel burns with the oxygen in the air and it is a high fuel to air ratio, i.e. too little oxygen that causes the carbon build up through incomplete combustion. Oxygen helps with carbon removal by converting hot carbon to carbon dioxide gas - just as dipping a glowing splint into a jar of oxygen causes it to reignite in the classic school experiment.
  • Is the system ready to use with all hoses and connections provided? Yes it is supplied ready to use, you just need to add the water and electrolyte.
  • Besides supplying HHO to the air intake is there anything else I should do when carbon cleaning? A.  Ensure the engine is warm before you start, dab the throttle to rev the engine every few minutes to help carry the loosened particles out.
  • If it HHO burns to produce water wont that harm my engine? A. No because the temperatures are too high to allow condensation of the vapour and water vapour is a normal product of combustion anyway, so engines are designed to handle it. It passes out safely as high temperature steam.
  • Do you provide an operating manual?  Yes, these are forwarded to our customers as pdf files.
  • Can you supply the units unbranded so I can add my own logo? A. Yes just specify unbranded in the notes to seller box along with the operating voltage (state 12V or 24V) when you check out .
  • What else do I need to set up a carbon clean business? A. Please send us an enquiry and we will be happy to help.
